I was mentioned in Justice McMurdo’s speech at Bond!

As the corporate relations director of Bond University’s Asian Law Students’ Society, I had the privilege of connecting with the Honorable Justice Margaret McMurdo and requesting that she become the keynote speaker for our first ever Women in Law event.

Thankfully, she agreed and the night was a complete success! My most surprising moment of the evening was when she mentioned my name several times in her speech, “Women in Law in Australia 2015: Celebrations or Commiserations?”

Equality in the workplace is a significant issue that affects a great number of my colleagues and friends in law. In my opinion, limiting the advancement and opportunity of women only undermines our profession by depriving firms and the court with amazing talent. It was an honor to be counted alongside so many people who strive for better opportunities for people in this world.

Special thanks to Ramsden Lawyers for their sponsorship of our event!
